In the spring of 1994 Alan Bultman started his company building his first invention the Pocket Paddle, it is a piece of equipment that creates a pocket for the water from the sprinkler irrigation to hold and then produce a higher yield of corn. He received his first patent on this product.

In the fall of 1994 Alan invented the Spa Dolly, it is a system used by pool and spa dealers to move hot tubs. It is the only system of its kind in the world. It is marketed in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia and many other countries. This product created a business that has flourished and grown into other products for the pool and spa dealer to make there business easier.

In 1995 Alan started Bultman Tire Center which has been a thriving business which has continued to grow by adding more services and provide more jobs through the years. At the celebration of the 10th anniversary Bridgestone Firestone added the opportunity of Mario Andretti to attend the festivities. A huge success that boosted the growth of the tire business in Hugoton and surrounding area.

Alan also invented a Tire Dunker, which is used to find leaks easily for the tire repair men.

In August of 2006 Alan purchased his second location for Bultman Tire Center, in Liberal Kansas. One year later a huge new facility was completed and Bultman Tire Center of Liberal is in full operation, offering all the services that are offered in the Hugoton KS location.

In June of 2006 Alan and Company began a building division, supplying Nucor buildings to the area. A construction crew was formed and they continue to build many different types of buildings.
